ENPRO Services, Inc., expansion from Newburyport MA to Pembroke, NH "Michael Bergeron showed genuine interest, listened to our needs, and then promptly researched a range of properties available in the target area for possible fits…He identified a particular property in the town of Pembroke as having potential. Thought the process, Michael was instrumental…Of particular interest to ENPRO is the job training match funds program. The cost of training in the environmental business is significant…Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Michael Bergeron ENPRO is a new member of the New Hampshire business community. We look forward to continuing our relationship with your Business Center and expanding our services to the business and residents of New Hampshire." Deborah L. Fleming, Business Manager, ENPRO Services Appli-tec, relocated from Haverhill MA to Salem, NH "It was late in 2005 that we decided to move and Michael was key in getting us the information we needed to make that decision. Michael also set up us with Granite State (SBA 504), he made a call that that helped us get our permit to build, he helped us keep our name as appli-tec, inc (and not have to go to a DBA), and ultimately helped make the move to Salem pretty easy. Since we moved we have added 24 new jobs and have had good success with the labor agencies in Salem as well. I am looking forward to working in Salem and look forward to a long and close relationship with the Economic Development Department of New Hampshire." Timothy Walsh, President Appli-tec Inc. Skelley Medical, relocated from Belmont MA to Hollis NH "About 3 1/2 half years ago I met Governor Lynch on a plane and after talking with him he suggested we consider moving our company to New Hampshire. He asked for my business card and said he would have his economic development group follow up with me. I was very surprised to find out that I got a call my first day back in the office. The economic person, Mike Bergeron, asked me what type of space we were looking for. The next day I received over 30 emails with the type of space we needed. Mike helped me narrow it down to 6-8 sites that seemed to fit. Mike then set up visits for all of these sites. After picking our top choice, Mike helped us get the best deal we could with the landlord. I was very surprised to get this type of state support! Since then we continue to work with state offices in developing our business. They have helped us make contacts in a number of countries around setting up reputable distributors. This November we will be attending Medica in Germany with the NH state trade group. Moving to NH was clearly one of the best things we have done. The follow up after my chance meeting with the governor has been wonderful."
